Membership of The Mathematics League (TML) is available to the staff of institutions in India who are engaged in teaching of mathematics and mathematical applications at any level or to those who hold a degree in mathematics, or whose work would benefit from the activities of TML or who have a deep commitment to mathematics and its emerging applications or who are engaged in industry and feel the need to keep in touch with the mathematical teaching community in general. The membership is also open to Math teachers overseas.

Once you are ready, apply online from HERE (follow the APPLY link on the Login screen). Please ensure the EMAIL you enter in this online form is "correct and reachable". We will be using this email as the primary means of communication. It will also be your Username.
Note:
Each person applying for membership must be proposed by an existing member who is expected to have personal knowledge of the applicant and his/her interests in the object of The Mathematics League.

Membership Fee
The Life membership fee is INR3000 for Indian citizens and OCI holders, and USD 200 (equivalent) for foreign citizens.
Student membership fee is INR1000 for Indian citizens and OCI holders. Student memberships are for 3 years.
Young Student (<= Grade 12) fee is INR500 for Indian citizens and OCI holders. Young Student memberships are for 5 years.
Senior Life Members (70 years+) get to nominate "bright young guns" for a Life membership at 50% discount.
If you hold Mathematics close to your heart, consider becoming a Patron Member by making a Donation HERE. Apart from other privileges, Patron members get to recommend one "bright young gun" for a free Student membership at anytime.

Pay the correct membership fee to the account as given above.
a) If you do a bank transfer:
Get the transaction details (code, date of transfer, from bank) properly noted. It is preferable to get the transaction slip (pdf) from the bank website to eliminate the possibility of any manual error.
b) If you do an online transfer:
Get the transaction receipt (pdf)
Fill up all the fields in the online form.
Upload the transaction slip / receipt.
Upload proof of your ID, (a clear scan of your Aadhar / Voter Id / Passport / OCI card). These details are required for quick confirmation of your membership avoiding inordinate and avoidable delays.
Your application will be put up for approval after you submit the completed application. Your membership will be activated after the approval is complete. You will receive an email with your membership details.
